The Deal Management Module in Carddio CRM helps you manage your entire sales process — from creating new deals to tracking progress and closing successfully.
Follow the steps below to use it effectively.
Step 1: Access the Deal Management Module
- Log in to your Carddio CRM account.
- From the left-hand navigation menu, click on Deals.
- This will open the Deal Listing Page, where you can view, search, and filter all existing deals.
Step 2: Create a New Deal
- Click the “+ Create Deal” button.
- Fill in the required fields:
- Deal Name – Enter a descriptive name for easy identification.
- Currency – Select the currency of the deal.
- Deal Amount – Specify the estimated value.
- Deal Owner – Assign who is responsible for the deal.
- Priority – Choose from High, Medium, or Low.
- Deal Type – Select the type of opportunity (e.g., New Business, Renewal).
- Pipeline – Choose the appropriate sales pipeline.
- User – Assign a company user who will work on this deal.
- Contact – Link the deal with an existing contact or create a new one.
- Dates – Add Start Date, Due Date, and Close Date (optional).
- Tags / Notes – Add internal notes or keywords for reference.
- Click Save to create the deal.
Each new deal is automatically assigned a unique reference number for easy tracking.
Step 3: View All Deals
- After creating deals, go back to the Deal Listing Page.
- Here you can:
- View all active and closed deals.
- Filter by Pipeline, Stage, User, Priority, or Date.
- Use the search bar to find deals quickly.
- You can also edit, view, or delete deals directly from this list.
Step 4: Open Deal Detail View
- Click on any deal name to open its Detail View.
- This page displays all deal-related information in one place, including:
- Deal Overview (Owner, Value, Stage, Priority)
- Assigned Users and Linked Contacts
- Activity Timeline (Emails, Notes, Follow-ups, Quotations, Tasks, etc.)
- Attached files and documents
- You can update the deal stage, add new activities, or modify details anytime.
Step 5: Track Deal Progress
- Monitor your deal as it moves through each stage of the pipeline — from Prospecting to Closed-Won or Closed-Lost.
- Update the Deal Stage manually or automatically based on your workflow.
- Add Follow-ups, Tasks, or Meetings under the Activity section to stay organized.
Step 6: Customize Your Deal Pipeline
- Go to Settings → Deal Management Settings.
- Under this section, you can:
- Create and edit Pipelines with custom stages (e.g., Prospecting, Meeting, Negotiation, Quotation Sent).
- Define Deal Priority Levels (High, Medium, Low).
- Enable or disable optional fields like Reference Number, Due Date, etc.
- Save changes to update your deal workflow instantly.
Step 7: Manage and Close Deals
- Once a deal reaches the final stage, mark it as Closed – Won or Closed – Lost.
- Record final notes, upload any supporting documents, and log the closure date.
- Closed deals remain accessible in your listing for reports and performance tracking.
